Post Doctoral Fellow, Department of Biotechnology, Bhupat and Jyoti Mehta School of Biosciences
I completed my B Tech in Chemical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sriperumbudur. I did my Masters in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus. This is where I developed an interest for pursuing research. Then, I worked as an intern at the Aditya Birla Science and Technology Company Ltd., as a part of their Modelling and Simulation team. Thereafter, I joined IIT Madras for pursuing my doctoral studies in the Department of Chemical Engineering. During my PhD, I developed mathematical models to analyse the hydrodynamics, mass transfer and reactions in multiphase flows in a microchannel. Currently, I am a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Biotechnology. My work involves modelling of integrated multi-scale disease network. Apart from research, I like to sing Carnatic music and enjoy travelling and playing with my son Srinath.
