The Initiative for Biological Systems Engineering (IBSE) at IIT Madras is seeking to hire a Project Scientist to join the INCENTIVE Project. The INCENTIVE Consortium is a partnership between Indian and European/US groups that addresses the global health and economic challenge posed by influenza infections to reduce the worldwide burden resulting from outbreaks. INCENTIVE’s central goal is to unravel the underlying mechanisms of poor responsiveness to influenza vaccines and advance the development of two next-generation universal influenza vaccines.
Eligibility
- Candidates must have completed their PhD in Computer Science/ Bioinformatics/related fields
- At least two years' of experience in multi-omic sequence analysis
- Expertise in data warehouse management
- Strong communication, data presentation, and visualization skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
