She is an Assistant Professor at IIT Madras, leading a research group focused on the mathematical modeling of the brain. Her research aims to leverage these models to gain insights into various aspects of neuroscience including diseases, brain states, and neurotechnologies. Prior to this role, she was a postdoctoral researcher in the Brain Networks Laboratory within the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).During this time, she was supported by a grant from the Alzheimer’s Association for a mentored postdoctoral fellowship. Her research focused on investigating dynamic functional activity in Alzheimer’s disease in collaboration with the UCSF Memory and Aging Center. She earned her doctoral degree from the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University.
